Technological innovations in dentistry have made it possible
to return almost every mouth to optimum beauty and function.
Our goal is to motivate you to achieve the best level of
dental health possible for your mouth.
Our examination continues with our clinical discovery
of your present state of dental health.
We examine your mouth for signs of the big three--decay,
gum disease, and bite problems. Using intra-oral cameras,
35mm digital pictures, study models and over twenty years
of experience, we examine your mouth for the big three
and any other oral problems that are present. We then formulate
a plan to help you solve any problems we find. We concentrate
on teaching you how to control your dental problems first!
We believe that treating teeth, gums, and bite problems
without learning how to prevent them from recurring is
futile. You need to learn how to stop dental problems from
coming back before you spend any more of your hard earned
money repairing the damage that has already been caused
by the big three. Many dental practices skip over the prevention
and go straight to the repairing! This cannot and does
not work!
The completion of the examination process involves deciding
what needs to be done to solve all the problems we find.
We usually start with the most immediate, painful problems
and go forward to the more complex, long-term solutions.
Your treatment is as individual as you are! If you are
free of all dental problems, congratulations! Your current
habits and practices are creating success. Keep up the
good work! If you have a number of problems, let's begin
with the end in mind and create a plan to solve your
problems in a reasonable affordable manner. Our goal
is for every visit to improve your dental health.
In summary, our examination process is designed to achieve
three goals. First, we want to educate you concerning
the present state of your dental health and discover
what goals you have for your mouth. Second, we want to
educate you concerning the causes of your dental disease
(if any disease is present) and teach you how to prevent
future problems. Lastly, we want to formulate a plan
to enable you to solve any problems you may have in a
suitable time period.

fail to plan"
