Q: What will happen at my first appointment?

A: This depends on your needs and your reason for seeking our care. Our goal is to address your primary concerns and create a plan for treatment and future preventive care. If you have an emergency, we want to get you comfortable as quickly as possible. Once you are out of misery, you may elect to move forward with comprehensive care.

We will perform a complete examination of your teeth, oral soft tissues, gums, and TMJ joints. We will usually take a full mouth series of radiographs (xrays).

If it has been 4-6 months since your last dental cleaning, you may choose to have your teeth cleaned at the first appointment. Just let us know so that we can schedule the additional time needed for that procedure.
